Red natural wine from Languedoc builds on southern French grape tradition — Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre — grown organically and vinified without additives. The region's warm days and cooler nights at altitude give ripe fruit with retained acidity, perfect for drinkable, food-friendly reds.
Styles vary enormously. Cinsault from Haute Vallée de l'Orb gives light, almost chillable reds. Old Carignan vines in Faugères and Saint-Chinian give structure and minerality. Grenache contributes juiciness and warmth. Producers decide whether the wine should be fruity and immediate or more serious and age-worthy.
PACT imports red natural wine direct from these producers to Stockholm. Reserve before the pallet fills — you get better value and fresher bottles than through traditional chains.
Grilled lamb, stew, charcuterie and pizza. Lighter reds are often served slightly chilled; fuller styles suit slow-cooked dishes and cheese.
