Septentrion 2023
Mainly Syrah from a plot at 300m altitude with north-eastern exposure on sandy-schistous alluvium. The north-eastern aspect gives very late maturity for the region, allowing slow phenolic development and good acidity — hence the cuvée's name and its North Rhône dimension. Elevage in wood. About 2,000 bottles per year.

Deep red with hints of black olive, violet and smoked meat — classic North Rhône Syrah character. Fresh and structured with good acidity and fine tannins. Long finish with notes of liquorice and pepper.
