Première Longuer 2024
Première Longueur is Thomas Chany's Grenache — from clay-limestone soil in Puisserguier with the chalky minerality that is his signature. Soft and fruity with body, but never heavy. The limestone's precision lifts Grenache's roundness and delivers an elegant, long finish.

Matiere Noire 2024
Matiere Noire is Thomas Chany's blanc de noirs — Grenache vinified as a white wine despite being a red grape. Direct-pressed with no skin contact and fermented with native yeasts on chalky soil. The limestone's signature minerality gives the wine a distinctive character.

About Thomas Chany
Thomas Chany did not grow up in the wine industry — he found his way there through curiosity and the right encounters. After secondary school he completed a viticulture course and trained with Yannick Pelletier and Luc Bettoni, two of the most important natural wine producers in the Saint-Chinian area. An old Carignan parcel he was able to take over at the age of 20 became his starting point. Since then he has expanded to 2.2 hectares spread across three terroirs in Puisserguier, with Carignan as the dominant variety but also Muscat and Grenache. The wines are fermented exclusively with indigenous yeasts and the limestone substrate gives them a clear minerality and chalky tannins. Production is small — around 1,500 bottles in total — and Thomas still works part-time alongside the vineyard. The wines nonetheless reach international restaurants and natural wine circles thanks to their precise character.
